Our proposal is to curate an event called dine by DESIGN, described as “A rare opportunity to dine within the hidden wealth of design, architectural and historic gems of Melbourne, for one night only.” The aim is to open one of the Melbourne Open House (MOH) venues for an exclusive dinner party, to highlight great architecture in a new and engaging manner to the general public, and to generate discussion on the importance of great design in our city of Melbourne.

It is dependant on several factors before it can formally proceed, namely:

• A suitable venue – we are in the process of talking with several venue managers
• Adequate sponsorship – we have sent out sponsorship pledges to targeted organisations
• Cost of staging the event – we are in conversation with catering and event management teams
• A ticketing/booking system in conjunction with MOH
• A marketed event listing on the MOH website, and to feature on your ancillary marketing channels, such as Facebook and Twitter

 Ultimately, however, WE NEED SPONSORSHIP, or this event will be unlikely to be able to proceed.
