Here, in the cafe (a commercial necessity for viability as a public space – more and more common these days), are ply walls and ply ceilings – it exudes a warmth of natural materials.
Who would use plasterboard these days? It requires another trade to go out on site; will construction reduce costs by utilising fewer trades to do more work?
