As the burbs are needing more and more infill to cope with the inevitable population increase (and neverending associated debate surrounding it), we’re faced with those leftover spaces – what do you do with them?

Here’s an example of road widening in Cremorne – just outside the Cherry Tree Hotel, where it becomes outdoor seating area, in blazing full north sun in the middle of the day.

There’s a business next door which also has the potential to spill out onto this space, but doesn’t do so. Shame.
