residential design | landscape hybridisation | process multidisciplinary opportunities

This proposal is for the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects unbuilt design competition unLandscaped 2010. This proposal utilises the frontage of my previous residence in Richmond to address the street with an urban vegetable garden. The design is simple, but the purpose is to encourage local food production as well as neighbourly interaction. Through a small intervention to the streetscape, the existing screen trees to the front are dissolved to become a welcoming new outdoor living room for the street to enjoy.
